Haryana to set up theme park at Gurgaon

The Haryana Government has decided to set up a Theme Park (Amusement Park) at Gurgaon over an area of 58 acres in multi-location format.  While disclosing this here today an official spokesman said that the Theme Park would enable Gurgaon to become a tourism destination of International Standards; provide large scale employment and would boost the economy.
 
The Theme Park would be based on International Models which are operated worldwide with high tech rides and infrastructure along with the state-of-the-art facilities and these facilities would constantly be upgraded, he added.

He said that Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) had invited Request for Proposals (RFP) from the reputed companies having a minimum experience of 10 years in setting up and operating at least one Amusement park in India and having net worth not less than Rs. 50 crore and an aggregate turnover at least Rs. 50 crore in the last five years for setting up this Theme Park.
