"We have had a significant performance on the back of strong growth witnessed in the domestic and international arena both," Havells India's Joint Managing Director Anil Gupta said.
Net revenue during the quarter increased by 24.54 per cent to Rs 548 crore as against Rs 440 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Annual net profit after tax stood at Rs 144 crore as compared to Rs 102 crore last fiscal.
The performance of the switchgear sales showed a growth of 34 per cent to Rs 543 crore from Rs 406 crore in the previous fiscal.

The cable and wire business segment showed a growth of 36 per cent with Rs 924 crore as against Rs 681 crore in 2006-07. The company also launched country's first eco-friendly green CFL (compact fluorescent lamp).
Havells India has accelerated its marketing and branding activities and is one of the sponsors of the ongoing T20 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm based in US has invested around Rs 460 crore in Havells India.
Havells owns some of the global brands such as Sylvania, Concord, Lumiance sand Zenith.
