HCL Info net rises 7 per cent |

Profits for the quarter grew to Rs 81.4 crore as compared with Rs 76 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. |
For the same time period, the company reported consolidated revenues of Rs 3288.08 crore""-up 11.7 per cent from Rs 2941.48 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. |
Revenues from the computer systems business grew 40 per cent to Rs 991 crore as compared with Rs 652.8 reported in the corresponding quarter in the 2006-07 fiscal. |
Meanwhile the telecommunication and office automation business witnessed a marginal growth of 3.7 per cent, to reach Rs 2395.1 crore as against Rs 2309.5 in the corresponding quarter in the last year. |

Its India online revenues, which include advertising and fee-based revenues, totalled $6.12 million (around Rs 24 crore) "" an increase of 8 per cent year-on-year, while its US publishing revenues totalled $2.41 million (around Rs 12 crore) "" an increase of 17 per cent year-on-year. |

Educomp Solutions today posted 131.62 per cent surge in their profit after tax at Rs 19.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 against Rs 8.20 crore in the year-ago period. |
The income of the company, which provides e-learning solutions, grew by 159.38 per cent during the quarter under review and stood at Rs 71.52 crore as compared to Rs 27.57 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, it said in a statement here. |
The basic EPS stood at Rs 11.04 as against Rs 5.14 in the corresponding quarter previous year. |
