IT firm HCL Infosystems today said it has posted a marginal dip in its consolidated net profit at Rs 55.98 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period a year ago.
This is against a net profit of Rs 56.09 crore during the same period last fiscal, HCL Infosystems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net income from operations, however, increased 2.75 per cent to Rs 3,115.14 crore for the reported quarter from Rs 3,031.49 crore registered during Q2 FY10.
Revenues from computer systems business stood at Rs 1,001.60 crore, while telecommunications and office automation business contributed Rs 2,103.83 crore.
HCL Infosystems shares closed at Rs 106 apiece, up 0.33 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
