HCL, NEC open new facility in Noida

HCL Technologies (HCL), in association with Japan-based NEC Corporation, has inaugurated a new facility - NEC HCL System Technologies in Noida. 

According to a release issued by HCL to the BSE today, the new facility has been set up with an investment of $5 million, and is spread over 20,000 sq.ft at Logix Techno Park, Noida.

"The new facility will provide a single window to all the NEC HCL operations in high-end, offshore-led, software engineering solutions in network and security, embedded software, hardware design, R&D, high performance computing and mobile technology," the release added.

Toshihiko Takahashi, president of NEC System Technologies and  executive vice president of NEC Corporation,  Iwao Fuchigami, senior vice president and board member of NEC Corporation, and  Vineet Nayar, president of HCL Tecnologies inaugurated the Noida centre, the release added.
