IT firm HCL Infosystems today said it has entered into a strategic partnership with Central Bank of India (CBoI) to provide consumer finance for purchase of computing devices and accessories.
Under the 'cent computer loan' scheme, finance for purchase of computing devices and accessories would be offered to individuals including students, professionals and permanent salaried persons at an interest of 12 per cent per annum, without any processing charges, HCL Infosystems said in a statement.
The tenure of the loan process is for 36 months with 75 per cent financing being offered by the bank, which is subject to maximum of Rs one lakh, it added.
The scheme will be available initially across 91 CBoI branches across the country.
"We are confident that our-tie up with CBoI will give immediate benefits to the potential buyers. The idea is to reach out to customers across India, who needs computing devices but face problems with the unavailability of financial assistance," HCL Infosystems Executive Vice-President George Paul said.
