| HDFC Bank today reported a 32% increase in net profit at Rs 262.94 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 199.64 crore in Q2FY06. According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased 58% to Rs 2,033.37 crore from Rs 1,283.05 crore in Q2FY06.
