HDFC Securities has announced the launch of a 24-hour customer care desk, making it the first brokerage firm to do so. This initiative follows the launch of the 24-hour chat facility by the firm early this year.
“A large number of clients tend to access the customer care desk from 8 pm to midnight, including customers based outside the country. Given the opportunity equities and other investment products present, we anticipate a greater need for a 24-hour customer service facility,” said Jyotheesh Kumar – Head Marketing, HDFC Securities.
A release from the brokerage firm on the initiative said that the facility can be used for queries on products and services, transaction-related services, grievances, investments, and technical issues by all customers including the NRI/PIO customers.
