IT Services firm Helios and Matheson Information Technology Ltd has reported a 57.4% increase in its net profit at Rs 14.67 crore for the second quarter ending September 30.
The Chennai-based company had reported a net profit of Rs 9.32 crore during the corresponding period of previous year, Helios and Matheson Information Technology said in a BSE filing.
For the six month period ended September 30, 2013, net profit of the company grew to Rs 49.88 crore from Rs 29.31 crore registered during the same period last year.

The total income from operations rose to Rs 651.17 crore for the six-month period ended September 30, from Rs 449.30 crore registered during the corresponding period of previous year.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 95.20 apiece up by 2.59% over previous close in afternoon BSE.
