Hema to consult for Mercer Consulting

Hema Ravichandar, who played a role in the massive recruiting of talent which built up Infosys, is now donning the role of an independent consultant with Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
 
This company is a global player in HR and related financial advice, products and services, with more than 14,000 employees and is a subsidiary of Marsh & Mclennan Companies Inc., listed on the NYSE.
 
According to a statement from Mercer, Hema Ravichandar will work with Mercer to assist clients in executing their change management strategies, re-engineering their HR structures and processes and, where applicable, in offshoring them to more cost effective locations.
 
Hema Ravichandar recently quit Infosys Technologies where she was senior VP and group head, HR and comes to Mercer with 22 years of experience.
 
Announcing her association with Mercer, R Sankar, country head, Mercer HR Consulting, India said: "Hema's unrivalled and deep HR expertise as well as her people management and extensive experience in building and offshoring HR organisations, capabilities and processes and mentoring client HR teams will prove invaluable to help us leverage our clients globally and in India."
 
Said Hema Ravichandar: "HR challenges, change management programs and aligning HR strategy with the business strategy are right at the top of the CXO agenda today. Outsourcing and offshoring, specifically are key focus areas for global chief executive officers currently."
