Henkel SPIC sales up 16% |
Henkel SPIC India (HSIL) has posted a 16 per cent growth in sales at Rs 102.89 crore compared with Rs 88.21 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. |
It registered a 21 per cent growth in turnover at Rs 196.07 crore for the first half of 2004, compared with Rs 162.16 crore in the corresponding period of 2003-04. Profit after tax fell 30% at Rs 1.33 crore (Rs 1.9 crore). |

MRF Q3 net rises 11.48% to Rs 17 cr |
MRF has posted a 11.48 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 17.09 crore in its third quarter ended June 30, 2004, as compared with Rs 15.33 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales rose 20.38 per cent to Rs 774.99 crore (Rs 643.8 crore). Net of excise levy the rise was 20.17 per cent at Rs 655.59 crore (Rs 545.62 crore). |
In the nine month tally, MRF's net profit has fallen by 11.44 per cent at Rs 46.90 crore (Rs 52.96 crore). Sales net of excise rose by about 20.19 per cent at Rs 1903.26 crore (Rs 1583.84 crore). |

Rallis India has posted a net profit of Rs 2.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30 compared with a net loss of Rs 17.65 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. Total revenue increased to Rs 114.64 crore (Rs 98.53 crore). Interest outgo was reduced to Rs 4.50 crore (Rs 10.13 crore). |
Sundaram Brake Q1 net up 32% to Rs 2.58 cr |
Sundaram Brake Lining has posted a 32 per cent growth in net profit in the first quarter ended June 30, 2004, at Rs 2.58 crore compared with Rs 1.95 crore in the same quarter last year. |
Turnover rose 15.31 per cent to Rs 32.22 crore (Rs 27.93 crore). Interest cost fell 26 per cent to Rs 43.73 lakh (Rs 58.98 lakh). Cash profit rose nearly 38 per cent at Rs 5.01 crore (Rs 3.64 crore). |
It stepped up its provision for depreciation by over 19 per cent to Rs 97 lakh (Rs 81.21 lakh). However, the company faced a 66.67 per cent hike in taxation provision at Rs 1.46 crore (Rs 87.75 lakh) not just on account of rise in its PBT but also the non-availability of deduction under Section 80 HCC of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for export profit from the current year. |
