Hero Ergo Life Insurance, a joint venture between the Hero group and Germany's Ergo International AG, has appointed Mukul Gupta as chief executive officer and Mark Schamp as chief financial officer.

</p><p class='TableClas'>"We are proud to announce the selection of Mukul (Gupta) as CEO...We are fortunate to get Mark (Schamp) to join us from Ergo's German operations as he brings a wealth of domain experience with him," Hero Corporate Service's Chairman Sunil Kant Munjal said.</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>Gupta has been in senior positions with Birla Sun Life Asset Management, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance and other companies such as Accenture and KPMG, the release said.</P>
