Hero Honda, Bajaj report higher March bike sales

Hero Honda Motors today reported a 20.5% increase in sales at 2,31,593 bikes in March as against 1,92,181 units in the same month last year.

An official release said full year sales was up 26.6% at 26,21,400 units from 20,70,157 units in the year-ago period.

Bajaj Auto today reported a 43% increase in March bike sales at 1,34,670 units while sales rose 18% to 1,63,530 units from 1,38,819 units in the year-ago period.
