Hero Honda Jan sales up 17%

Hero Honda today reported a 17.5% increase in January sales at 2,30,280 motorcycles as against 1,95,982 motorcycles sold in January 2004.

Cumulative sales between April 2004 - January 2005 increased 29.4% to 21,66,261 motorcycles from 16,73,421 units sold in the corresponding period last year.

According to a release posted on the official website, "the company has announced a Rs 1,001 celebration offer for all its models w.e.f 14 January, 2005."
