Hero Honda June sales up 12.5%

Hero Honda Motors today reported a 12.5% rise in June sales at 2,26,073 units as against 2,00,922 units sold in June 2004.

Bike sales in the domestic market moved up 9% to 2,14,048 units from 1,95,906 units in June 2004. Exports advanced more than 100% to 12,025 units as against 5,016 units in the year-ago perod.

Overall sales, including exports, in the first quarter of the current fiscal (Apr-Jun '05) moved up 12.8% to 6,87,567 units from 6,09,123 units in Q1FY05.
