Hero Honda, Maruti most trusted, says TNS survey

Maruti Udyog and Hero Honda are most trusted companies by the Indian customer. Besides their products, which have made them market leaders in their respective segments, they have also earned the customers' appreciation for their contribution to the social and economic development in the country, especially by generating newer jobs and improving the quality of life.
 
Other companies that were tagged as 'most trusted' as per the latest survey on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conducted by TNS Automotive Global, world's largest automotive research company, are Bharat Petroleum in Oils, Tata Motors in commercial vehicles and MRF in automotive tyres.
 
These responses gathered from over 18,000 consumers across 18 major automotive markets across 18 nations, were released today in Delhi. The customers analysed companies on the basis of consistent commitment towards better products and quality standards.
 
Bharat Petroleum is rated highly on ethical behaviour and Tata Motors has been appreciated for creating a sustainable future in the competitive automotive market. MRF tyres stands high on its contribution for bringing safe products to the automotive users.
 
Showing greater concern for ecology, the majority 80 per cent of the respondents shared the view to shell out extra money for quality products and preferred refraining from purchases of companies that fail to follow environmentally friendly or ethical business practices.
 
On the international front, Toyota Motor stood as the 'most trusted car company'. Toyota, which is poised to become the largest car maker in the world in next two years, has a strong global image and got a high customer rating for manufacturing safer products, promoting road safety, and blending innovation and technology to sustain the environment.
