Hero Honda Q1 net down 20%

Hero Honda Motors today reported a 20% decline in net profit at Rs 189.84 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 237.74 crore in Q1FY07.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 2,486.90 crore from Rs 2,416.65 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
