Recording a net profit of Rs 2.63 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011 for the financial year 2011-12 as against Rs 1.77 crore for the previous corresponding period, Ahmedabad-based Hester Biosciences Limited posted a 48 per cent growth in its bottomline.
Hester, which recently launched its first poultry health product 'LACT-FD' - a freeze dried chicken strain pro-biotic, has reported a turnover of Rs 11.77 crore in Q3 for fiscal 2011-12 as compared to Rs 10.7 crore for the previous corresponding period, up by 10 per cent.
A Hester R&D product, LACT-FD, besides being introduced in India, will be exported to China post its launch.
