The company’s HP LaserJet flow MFP M830z and colour flow MFP M880z will allow users to print safely from any near field communications-enabled smartphone or tablet.
“The LaserJet flow MFP M830z has a dual scan feature and a variety of other features like hole punch,”Pradeep Jotwani, senior vice president and general manager LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions Printing and Personal Systems said at the press conference here today.
The company has also extended the mobile printing facility to existing printer models, those manufactured from 2008, and is currently working out the pricing for upgradation.
Apart from the launch of the new range of printers, the US-based company also announed Managed Print Specialist Resell program- a partner managed print services scheme that would allow the Indian customer to access HP’s MFP innovations and other services.
Under this new scheme, HP will offer customers a cost-per-page agreement and services for maintenance of the device as medium-sized businesses are looking for an operational expenditure model instead of the capital expenditure to reduce cost on printing.
