The company has also bid for trans-habour link bridge project under the Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) project of the Maharashtra government, Anil Ambani said.
 
"We have been short-listed for the both the projects, privatisation of airports and MRT projects, but a final decision will come through only after the expiry of the extended deadline," he said.
 
Ambani, however, did not mention about the new deadline.
 
MRTS project envisages setting up of a 13 km long Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor, which is to be developed on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis. The bids for the project invited by the MMRDA.
 
Under the Mumbai trans-harbour Ltd project, a 22 km bridge connecting Sewri and Nhava would be built on a BOT basis. The bids for the project were invited by MSRDC. Reliance Energy has formed a consortium with Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co Ltd of Korea for the project and has submitted its bid on January 10, 2005.
 
Participation in the bidding process for the restructuring and modernising of Mumbai and Delhi airports in joint venture with the Airport Authority of India. An expression of interest was submitted to the AAI on July 19, 2004, by Reliance Airport Developers Pvt Ltd in consortium with Reliance Energy Ltd and VINCI Airports.
