Hikal signs deal with Pfizer for APIs

Hikal has signed a long-term agreement with global pharma major Pfizer Inc for the manufacture and supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

Hikal, in a release to the exchanges today, said the USFDA-approved plant at Jigani, Bangalore will manufacture the APIs.

Hikal has manufacturing sites at Panoli (Gujarat), Taloja and Mahad (Maharashtra), and the manufacturing activities are supported by research centres and pilot plant facilities at Bangalore and Taloja.
