Hill & Knowlton expands global footprint into India with IPAN

WPP,  the world’s largest communications services group's communications consultancy Hill & Knowlton has launched its operations here in partnership with JWT's IPAN, its home grown public relations company in India.

With this alliance, IPAN will now be rebranded as IPAN Hill & Knowlton and the newly formed entity will be a part of Hill & Knowlton’s Asia Pacific regional operations with IPAN President Radhika Shapoorjee reporting to Hill & Knowlton Asia Pacific President & Chief Operating Officer Vivian Lines.

Both JWT and Hill & Knowlton are part of communications services group, WPP, and all existing management and staff at IPAN will continue in their existing roles.

 

Colvyn Harris, chief executive officer, JWT India said: "With this management realignment for IPAN with Hill & Knowlton there will be greater specialisation and the value proposition for globalisation of Public Relations in India will strengthen.”

IPAN's clients in India include Citigroup, Hindustan Lever, Goldman Sachs, the Swatch Group, Continental Airlines, ITC to name a few. The company has over 140 people and operations in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata and has local affiliations that reach more than 100 other cities across India. Hill and Knowlton has operations in 43 countries.
