Hind Zinc cuts zinc prices by Rs 13,400

Hindustan Zinc today reduced zinc prices by Rs 13,400 from Rs 1,86,000 per tonne to Rs 1,72,600 per tonne, reflecting a decrease of 7.2%.

This is the second reduction in zinc prices announced by the company within this week. HZL had reduced its zinc prices by Rs 9,300 per tonne, on June 11.

However, there is no immediate reduction in lead prices, Sumanth Cidambi, associate director (investor relations) Vedanta Resources, HZL's holding company said in an official release issued today.
