Hind Zinc hikes price by Rs 8,300/tn

Hindustan Zinc, in an unprecedented hike, today increased the price of zinc by Rs 8,300 per tonne.

This is the fourth price hike by the company since the beginning of the month indicating strong growth in the metal market.

"Once the metal price begins to fluctate, we have no other option except to re-adjust our prices acccordingly," Sumanth Cidambi, a senior official of holding company Vedanta Resources, told PTI.
