Hindalco FY07 net up 55% at Rs 2,564cr

Hindalco Industries today reported a 55% increase in net profit at Rs 2,564.30 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 1,655.50 crore in FY06.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 18,683.10 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 11,640.40 crore in FY06.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 721.30 crore in Q4FY07 as against Rs Rs 626.30 crore in Q4FY06. Total income increased to Rs 4,872.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 from Rs 3,731.70 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2006.
