HindBio to launch 5 herbal drugs

Hindustan Biosynth (HindBio), a Vadodara-based pharmaceutical company, will launch five new herbal drugs for life style based diseases. The company is in advance stage of clinical trials of these drugs.
 
Taking to Business Standard, K S Chhabra, managing director of HindBio, said, "We will launch herbal drugs for disease of Arthritis, obesity, blood pressure, enhancing immunity and erectile dysfunctional."
 
He further added that all the five drugs are under clinical trials and by the end of August, it will hit the market.
 
The arthritis and erectile dysfunctional drugs will be marketed under the brand name of 'Arthrite' and 'Josh' respectively.
 
The company claims that the erectile dysfunctional herbal drug Josh will not have any side affect that of allopathic drugs and it is completely safe for the heart patience.
 
It also claims that the herbal erectile dysfunctional drug will give similar result as that of allopathic drugs.
 
Where as the company has also developed a unique immunity enhancing herbal drug targeting the HIV+ and AIDS patience.
 
"North-east is a huge market for the immunity enhancing herbal drugs due to the swelling cases of AIDS patience there," said Chhabra.
 
HindBio has recently made its entry into the herbal drug market to diversify from its basic pharmaceutical drugs.
 
"Currently, we are focusing on the life style drugs segment as it is growing at a pace of 24 percent per annum," he added.
 
At present, HindBio is carrying out clinical trials of the drugs in Banaras Hindu University's Institute of Medical Science, State Aurvedic College at Handiya (Allahabad) and at Rockfel Hospital at Delhi.
