Hinduja Global Solutions opens centre in Hyderabad

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) International Services India Private Limited on Friday opened a new delivery centre in Hyderabad, its fourth in Andhra Pradesh. The 600-seat capacity centre will primarily cater to its international healthcare operations.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of global BPO services provider HGS. This is the 54th global delivery centre for the parent company, which serves over 500 clients through its centres in India, the US, Canada, the UK and France among other countries, according to a statement.

HGS is one of the pioneers in healthcare business process management and a full spectrum player in the US healthcare market, it stated. "The new centre will see good traction, catering to more business from our existing clients and new business due to the synergies that will come through our global presence," Partha DeSarkar, global CEO of HGS, said in the release. HGS has close to 24,000 employees worldwide.
