Hindustan Dorr gets orders worth Rs 135 cr

Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd gets three orders worth about Rs 135 crore in their Minerals and Water Sector. An order worth Rs 63 crore has been received from the Government of India, Heavy Water Board, Mumbai for designing, enginnering and manufacturing at the Department of Atomic Energy with a completion period of 16 months.

Another order worth Rs 36.5 crore for complete ETP plant for the first ever Aromatic complex from ONGC-Mangalore Petrchemicals Ltd. Th eproject is expected to be executed in 20 months.

The third order worth Rs 35 crore from Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd (Balco) at Korba towards completion of In-plant Air and Water piping system, similar to two earlier projects from Vedanta. This contract is expected to be executed within a period of 10  months.

 

HDO is already been associated with Atomic Energy division and a project worth Rs 441 crore is already under execution in Andhra Pradesh. The plant will be commissioned in 2011.

The company has also made  a 100 per cent acquisition of UK-based Davy Markham in 2010.

The company says it is the lowest bidder for Rs 52-crore worth order. The order book as on date is Rs 4,500 crore.

The shares were trading up more than 4 per cent.
