Hindustan Zinc has kept the prices of zinc and lead unchanged at previous week's level. Zinc prices stood at Rs 85,500 per tonne and lead at Rs 94,900 per tonne during the week, a company circular said today.
Zinc is used for producing galvanising steel, alloys, while lead is used in batteries, rubber and paint industries.
Shares of Hindustan Zinc closed at Rs 563.80, down 0.24 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
