Hindustan Zinc has posted a 113.58 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 145.15 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2003, compared to a net profit of Rs 67.96 crore posted during the same period a year ago. Total income rose to Rs 1,727.18 crore (Rs 1461.92 crore).
The company posted a 28.58 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 49.88 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2003, compared to Rs 38.79 crore registered during the same period a year ago. Total income for the reporting quarter rose to Rs 594.86 crore (Rs 427.17 crore).
