Hindustan Zinc Q1 net up 36% to Rs 1,185cr

Hindustan Zinc has posted a 36% jump in net profit at Rs 1,185 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 (Q1FY08) when compared with Rs 874 crore for Q1FY07.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 2240 crore from Rs 1659 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
