Hindustan Lever (HLL) today said that the Kodai Lake as well as the health of employees at its site have not been affected by its thermometer factory operations. Further, a remediation plan has been defined for soil in some areas within the factory premises, according to HLL.
These outcome are based on a report from URS, leading global environment experts appointed by HLL. The consumer goods company will be submitting the report to the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board and the working committee set up by the TNPCB.
