Hindustan Motors on Wednesday opened its third dealership in Chennai, the investment for which is around Rs 60 lakh. |
"The Ambassador is the right technology for a developing country like India. In 2004, we sold 12,500 Ambassadors. We expect a 15-20 per cent growth and will sell 15,000 cars this fiscal," said Ashwani Dubey, executive vice-president, Hindustan Motors. |
Vishnu Cars is the third dealership in Chennai and 15th in Tamil Nadu. HM has a total of 107 dealers across the country. The new dealership is expected to sell 60-65 cars this month alone. |
All the variants of Ambassador will be available for sale including Ambassador Classic, Grand, Avigo in petrol, diesel and LPG options. |
