Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported a 43.66 per cent growth in sales at 1,23,831 units for September 2010.
The company's total sales stood at 86,199 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, HMSI said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales jumped 78.34 per cent to 58,508 units in September this year against 32,807 units in September 2009, it added.
The company reported an increase of 22.35 per cent in scooter sales to 65,323 units in last month compared to 53,392 units a year ago during the same month.
