Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today reported a 45.53% jump in total sales during April at 1,98,831 units, compared to 1,36,622 units in the same month of 2011.
Motorcycle sales moved up 32.37% to 81,427 units during the month, as against 61,514 units in April, 2011, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 56.31% in scooter sales to 1,17,404 units from 75,108 units a year ago during the same month.
