Car major Honda cars would launch its Mid-size 7 seater, the MPV Mobilio, and the all-new 3rd generation, the Jazz, during this financial year. The company currently sells four models namely the Brio, Amaze, City and CRV in India.
Interacting with media persons in Chandigarh, Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice- president, marketing and sales said: "The Mobilio will be launched in next quarter and Jazz will be reintroduced in third quarter or in fourth quarter. Both these models will have petrol and diesel variants"However, he refused to comment on price of Mobilio and said that the company is in process of fixing the price.
Commenting on the sales, he added: " We have received a phenomenal response from the customers in the FY 2013-14. Riding on the success of the Amaze and 4th Generation Honda City, the company posted its highest ever annual sales of 1, 34,339 units during FY 2013- 14 recording 83% growth over previous year

The last financial yearproved to be the year full of opportunities and expansion for Honda Cars India Limited. In the month of Apr'13, company forayed into the diesel segment in the Indian car market by launching the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine. The launch of the Amaze marked Honda's entry into the diesel segment in the Indian market. The car has received an overwhelming success ever since its launch in April last year selling more than 80,000 units across the country in one year. During Jan'14, the company launched the all-new 4th Generation Honda City in the Indian market.
HCIL started the production of cars from its Tapukara Plant In Feb'14. Honda Amaze was the first car to roll out from the new plant.
