Honda Siel April sales up 27%

Honda Siel Cars India today reported a 27.3% increase in sales in April 2006 when compared with the corresponding month in 2005.

According to an official release issued by the company today, 4,551 cars were sold in April as against 3,575 cars in the same month last year. Cumulative sales for January-April 2006, also registered an increase of 22%, at 17,430 units as against 14,275 units in the corresponding period a year ago.

HSCI's flagship model - Honda City registered sales of 4,007 cars in April while 231 units  of  Honda Accord were sold and CR-V sales were 313 units, the release said.
