Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) today reported a 20.80% dip in its sales for August at 5,470 units.
The company, which is a joint venture between Japanese auto major Honda and the Siel Group, had sold 6,907 units in the same month last year, HSCI said in a statement.
During the month, the company sold 2,536 units of its flagship sedan City and 2,335 units of small car Brio. It also sold 465 units of the premium hatchback Jazz and 53 units of sedan Civic.
Besides, HSCI sold 34 units of the premium sedan Accord and 47 units of sports utility vehicle CR-V in August 2012.
