Honda, today, announced plans to exhibit the prototype of its new small-sized vehicle, scheduled to be launched in India and Thailand next year, at the upcoming Thailand International Motor Expo, 2010. This is the first time Honda would be exhibiting the prototype, representative of the design and styling, buyers may expect.

The prototype would build upon the Honda New Small Concept, which was showcased in India (January) and Thailand (March) this year. It would represent vehicle packaging that is closer to the mass-production model.

Based on this prototype, Honda will introduce two different versions of the small-sized vehicle, which will share the same basic design. While the model for the Indian market, would be developed exclusively for the country’s growing small car market, the one for the Thai market would focus on complying with the country’s high fuel efficiency standards.

Besides the prototype, Honda will also exhibit a variety of car models at the exhibition such as Accord, City, Civic, Jazz (known as Fit in Japan), Freed and CR-V. And motorcycles including CBR250R, a new global sports model and PCX, a global scooter model, both of which are being exported from Thailand to global markets.
