The company will distribute Exam Time Tips booklets with the purchase of a 500gm pack of Horlicks. |
A school programme will be carried out across select schools in Kolkata. |
This initiative was aimed at reducing the stress children underwent during exam time by equipping them with techniques that enabled them to work sharper and perform better. |
As fear appeared to be the single most important factor in explaining the under-performance of many students during examinations, Horlicks said the booklet would help children identify smarter and sharper ways of learning. |
The booklet was divided into sections titled 'Sharp at study' to reduce anxiety, 'Sharp and healthy' with tips on sleep and diet and 'Sharp at exam' with a checklist. |
The booklet was in English and Bengali. |
"Horlicks recognises that with better guidance, children can produce more successful results. Hence, the Horlicks Wiz Kids Exam Time Tips programme", said Shubhajit Sen, general manager of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. |
