Housing project worth Rs 600 cr launched in Allahabad

Project spanning 15 acres and spread over five blocks would comprise almost 1,500 housing units

A smart city project worth Rs 600 crore was launched in the Sangam City of Allahabad on Tuesday.

The project spanning 15 acres and spread over five blocks would comprise almost 1500 housing units to cater to the different housing segments, including low-income group (LIG), middle-income group (MIG), high-income group (HIG), premium and super luxury apartments.

Announcing the project, New Modern Buildwell Pvt Ltd said it was targeting to complete the project in another five years.

“However, the actual possession in the project would start by 2018 itself,” company promoter P N Misra said.

He said the entire land and requisite approvals were in place and the spade work had already started to meet the project timelines of ‘Navyug – Smart Mini City’. “We have started registration for 425 units of Avani Enclave to fulfil our obligation towards society,” he informed.
 

Misra highlighted the project aimed at providing such quality of life, which would be comparable to the best urban settlements in the world.

“The project is the first of its kind in Allahabad to provide residents with facilities including social infrastructure, services network, hassle-free easy living, other modern amenities,” he said. The smart city would also encompass theft-free regular power supply with prepaid meters and world-class communication system with optical fibre connection.

“The sensors installed sewerage treatment plants will ensure pollution-free enclave. Besides, there would be no disposal of effluent in any form to the rivers,” he added.
