HPCL cuts net loss to Rs 87cr in Q1

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has posted a net loss of Rs 86.93 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 whereas its net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, was of Rs 607.67 crore.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income has increased to Rs 22,216.79 crore from Rs 20,777.06 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
