HPCL Q2 net loss at Rs 22.14cr

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) today reported a net loss of Rs 22.14 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against a net profit of Rs 294.31 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by HPCL to the BSE today, total income increased 24.65% to Rs 16,943.82 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 13,592.68 crore in Q2FY05.
