HPCL Q3 net drops 70%

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has reported a 69.58% decline in net profit at Rs 235.92 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against Rs 775.71 crore in Q3FY04.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 16,328.29 crore from Rs 12,995.62 crore in Q3FY04.
