HSBC Global hikes stake in CESC

 According to a release issued by CESC to the NSE today, HSBC Global Investment Funds (Mauritius) and PAC HSBC Investments (Hong Kong) acquired an additional 4.03% stake, aggregating 33,20,000 shares of the total paid up capital of CESC, on September 27. "The mode of acquisition is through the GDS offering," the release added.

 After the acquistion, HSBC Global Investment Funds now holds 68,63,699 shares of CESC, the release added.
