HSBC hikes Zee Tele stake to 5%

 According to a release issued by Zee Telefilms to the NSE today, HSBC Global Investments Funds (Mauritius) and HSBC Investments (Hong Kong) acquired an additional 44,50,000 shares, aggregating to 1.08% of the total paid-up capital of the company, on September 29, 2005.

 "After the acquisition, HSBC Global Investments Funds (Mauritius) and PAC HSBC Investments (Hong Kong) now hold 2,08,43,466 shares totalling 5.05% of Zee Telefilms," the release added.
