To begin with, the HSIIDC would construct 192 single room dwelling units and 36 dormitory
units for workers within the MIT, Manesar and later the scheme would be extended to industrial estates like undli, Rai, Barhi, Rohtak, Saha and Bawal.
Claiming it to be the first such project in the country, Rajeev Arora, managing director, HSIIDC, said Corporation has already invited applications from the entrepreneurs in Manesar for allotment of these units to their workers.
The tentative cost of a dormitory unit with a covered area of 84.55 sq mtr has been fixed of Rs.15 lakh whereas a single room dwelling unit covering 28.66 sq mtr would cost around Rs.3.80 lakh.

The allotment shall be made on a deferred payment scheme wherein the applicant shall pay 10 per cent with the application, 15 per cent after allotment and balance 75 per cent in five equated half-yearly installments carrying nominal interest.
