Huawei to start selling Honor smartphones through Snapdeal

The company has set target to sell 15-20 lakh units of Honor smartphones by the end of this year

Chinese telecom firm Huawei will start selling Honor smartphones through e-commerce platform Snapdeal from Monday, expanding the reach of the handsets which were earlier available only on Flipkart.

"Our e-brand, Honor, has received an overwhelming response from Indian customers and we are now expanding our reach with Snapdeal.Com.

"We are confident that this partnership will help us reach out to larger group of Honor smartphone fans," Huawei India Consumer Business Group VP (Sales) P Sanjeev told PTI.

Huawei started selling Honor smartphones in India through Flipkart about a year ago. The company has set target to sell 15-20 lakh units of Honor smartphones by the end of this year.
 

"We now have 1 million customers of Honor and there is a quarter to go in this year," Sanjeev said.

Huawei will sell its mobile devices at additional discount on Snapdeal which includes Honor 4X for Rs 8,999, Honor 4X (gold) for Rs 9,499, Honor 4C Rs 7,999, Honor Bee at Rs 3,999 based on 10 per cent off on purchase made through HDFC debit and credit cards.

"The discounts are inaugural offer. We will continue to sell our flagship smartphones Honor 7 and Honor 6 Plus exclusively through Flipkart," he added.
