Hyosung to import bike made via Kinetic venture

 The Pune-based Kinetic, which forayed into the fast-growing motorbikes segment with its launch of GF 125, has more or less phased out the bike from the domestic markets and replaced it with the GF 170.

 The GF 125 now sells in small numbers in eastern India and Nepal, and will now be manufactured with a special focus on the export market.

 Though the idea was always that Hyosung would depend on Kinetic for the supply of lower-end bikes and Kinetic would leverage the arrangement by sourcing the higher-end bikes from Hyosung, even as Kinetic started importing the 250 cc Aquila from Hyosung in February this year, Hyosung had not yet started depending on Kinetic for any of its products or segments.
