Hyundai eyes 1,500 Eon sales in Kerala

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has launched the all-new Eon in Kerala on Wednesday. YS Lee, regional manager (south India), Hyundai Motor, said the company was targeting an initial monthly sale of 1,500 units of Eon in Kerala. The national target has been fixed at 120,000-140,000 units for the calendar year 2012. The company said in a release that the new model comes with a 814cc petrol engine and five-speed manual trans-mission, and offers a mileage of 21.1kmpl (ARAI figures).
